Drop Ceilings

Drop ceilings always referred to as a suspended ceiling, are a very nice piece to a beautiful home. Installing can east as long as you know what you need and how to use everything to install drop ceiling. You want to plan everything out before you start physical maneuvering any parts into place. You first hang the suspension wires for the main tees. The main tees should run at the right angles to the joints in the room always. Then locate the first suspension wire for each main tee which is directly above the point where the first cross tee meets up with the main tee. You are now ready to install the main tees so that they are in the same level with the wall angle mounted into place.

Now insert the cross tees by installing the ends of those tees into each slots in the main tees. Use an instructional manual to work with this. Once you have finished installing all the tees the framework should be ready to have the framework, once you are done with that drop them, so that would fall into the correct place.

Some advantages of Drop Ceilings:

- Drop Ceilings conceals obstructions which are attached to the underside of the joists, but they allow easy access for fixing pipes or adding wiring later on.
- When using a Drop Ceiling, are also better sound barriers.
Also, since you level the ceiling as you install it, the existing joists do not have to level or straight.
