Stone Siding

We are looking for something close to stone siding as an addition to our home. The contractor suggested a siding material to match our existing stone, but no brand name or manufacturer! Any Ideas on what he could be talking about to give me an idea what to look for?

Well, there's really no "brand name" or "manfuacturer" to spec. If it's truly a cultured stone product, the architect is being cautious in not specifying an actual manufacturer or brand name, and I can't really blame him- if he specifies it and it doesn't match exactly, guess who you're going to go yelling at.
