i have no idea what this thing is. i found it in my window well and captured it in a bucket. i think my dog chased it in there because i found a destroyed nest in my yard. it is about four inches long and has a thick brown coat. it is about an inch tall and has about an inch of tail, and tiny ears. i checked once to be sure it didn't escape, and it was sitting in it's water bowl! the nest was near/in an evergreen bush. i have not handled it at all. it is currently living in my basement in an abandoned habitrail for hampsters. it is lethargic, seeminly unafraid of people, and i think it may have been hibernating. it may just be a desendant from a feral hampster. i don't know! if you have any idea what it is, please email me at: MonkiePupp@aim.com subject:critter.
