glass tile disaster

plumber was attaching fixture to newly glass tiled walls, and a couple of the 1x1 tiles popped off. made me wonder, whats up. checked, and found that tile adhesive, which the guy whos doing my tiles insisted we use IS NOT SUITED FOR GLASS. the product, is made by custom building products, is called ACRYL PRO is not suitable to porous tile. so apparently, when porous glass tile absorbs water, moisture will work its way to the back, and then have nowhere to go. im not sure if the tiles will pop off straight away. company spokesman said it might last for a year or two. said the grout would hold it in place, but that the glue we used was like putting up tiles using elmers.

anybody make the same mistake? any solution other than to tear it all out now?

If there is not a chance

If there is not a chance that it will come off, you might check out a company called Re-Bath. Their product is made to go over tile.
