The shut off valve on the hot water side under the sink will not totally close but there is only a small drip (not from the stem but out of the top of the valve). I live in a condo setting and so it is a big ordeal to change the valve.I would like to replace the sink and use the same faucet. My question is if I leave the supply line for the hot side connected to the valve end and buy a fitting to plug it wouln't this work? I can then take my time and connect the faucet and new supply lines, garbage disposer etc before dropping in the new sink. Am I nuts or will this work or has anyone another suggestion
I think I would just shut
I think I would just shut the main water to the house off and go to my local hardware store and pick up a new one. They dont cost that much
